Additional Information

A PERSONAL INVITATION

Last year, it was encouraging to look back at 10 years of ministry to mothers. God started these WholeHearted Mother conferences in 1998 out of a desire to encourage Christian and homeschooling mothers, and I am grateful for the opportunity to speak to so many moms the lifechanging truths of God. But it's time for a new start, a revival of what is important and needed, perhaps more than ever as we face faith-challenging new realities. God has put it on my heart to renew the vision for biblical motherhood within our culture, and to help restore a heart for biblical motherhood to a new generation of mothers. A "Mom Heart" that is turned to God and tuned to the beat of his heart for motherhood will change the world, one child at a time, even in a time of great change.

You will hear a bit more at this conference about the Mom Heart small groups ministry initiative that is just getting on its feet. I want you to know how you can begin praying for it, and how you can become a part of this strategic mothers movement I pray will impact generations of mothers and their children. But, as I offer that vision, I am also burdened to encourage and strengthen your heart right now. I want to help you find the ability to "smile at the future" that the mother in Proverbs 31 found. I want to share my heart with you about what I am learning about smiling at the future with faith, and the impact that your faith, as a mother, will have on your home and family.

I have been studying the Word as I write a new book on living a life of joy, and I want to share some of those thoughts with you. I'll be speaking about having a heart for God like David, who earnestly sought after God; about having a heart for motherhood, and living to the beat of God's "mom heart;" and about having a heart for faithfulness, and the truth about trusting God. Zan Tyler, Sandra Maddox, and Sarah Clarkson (my daughter) will also share their hearts to encourage you on your journey of faith as a Christian mother.

It is my prayer that this will be a weekend when you can be refreshed, revived, and renewed in your spirit, by the Spirit of God. I hope you will plan to join me, and my friends, for what I pray will be a strategic and memorable time together as wholehearted Christian mothers. You’re in my heart!

Sally Clarkson

WHAT TO EXPECT

Warm Fellowship with Mothers You need to be with other wholehearted mothers like you! You need to be able to laugh and cry and shout and sigh about the same experiences. At this conference, you’ll be refreshed, revived and restored by being around other moms who want the same thing for their children that you want for yours. Come enjoy the pleasure of being with friends, and being spiritually encouraged.

Spiritually Encouraging Program The WHMother Conference is also filled with inspirational worship. Afternoon workshops will offer practical help and encouragement for mothering and parenting skills. There will also be a Whole Heart Ministries booktable filled with carefully selected titles to encourage and equip you as a mother.
